end of life

Just a question for the brainiacs out there. I am faced with a evergrowing pile of used computers. There are almost all obsolete. I have many CRT monitors and P II or III processors. The computers aren’t worth a whole lot, but I don’t want to throw it out if it is still woring. The property people till I can only get rid of it during a surplus sale, but we only have one every 2 years.
What are other organizations doing to get rid or surplus equipment? Does anyone have a policy they would be willing to share?
