Epsom filmscan 200 and W2k

I am trying to install the driver for an Epsom Filmscan200 onto a W2k machine. When I insert the Epsom CD containing the drivers, Windows refuses to recognise any inf files as being appropriate. Apparently, Epsom stopped making this device in 1999, and no updated drivers are available from the Epsom website.

I will try Driverguide (my next port of call), but I was hoping that somebody might be able to suggest a work-around.
