Error 0012 Invalid access code

The printer at one of our clients sites stops for no particular reason, it is a HP 4plus with NIC card and maintained by a NT server running jetadmin, to fix the problem I stop and start the spooler service, but the first time I try to restart the service it comes up with a error MSG ” ERROR 0012 Invalid access code” but the second time I try to start it I starts fine, I think this error is more the cause than the result of. can anyone help me. I have looked on technet but to no avail. All you Printer Daemons out there please assist
