error code

Hi,
When ever I boot up a win98 client while it’s going through it’s post. I get an error message as follows:
error 0271: Check date and time settings
Press F1 to continue or F2 to go into time settings. I press f1 to continue and everythingseems to be running fine.But this message appears everytime when I boot up the win98 machine . Can anybody explain what this means and how to fix it..Any help would be appreciated. Thank’s in advance…
