Error Installing W2K Pro-No Key or Mouse

I have a PIII 500, 384 MB of RAM, 32 MB 2x AGP vid card…currently running ME on one drive..installed second drive, installing Win2000 on it as a dual boot system…goes through the install, allows me to use my keyboard to enter info, and then uponfinal reboot when it starts the Network Identification Wizard, my keyboard and mouse suddenly don’t work. What gives? I have tried with 2 keyboards and mice….something I am missing?
