error message in Windows ME

I am receiving an error message which reads:

Eude has caused an error in .
Eude will now close.

I have the option of clicking on the “close” button.

This is what happens. I boot the computer and I don’t even touch anything once the desktop is on screen. If I just sit and watch the desktop for about 3 minutes, the error will pop-up. I’m not opening any applications or anything. It still gives me the error message even if I disable “Load startup group items” before restarting. Thanks in advance for your help.
