Error on Emptying Recycle Bin

I recently revered a lot of data from a crashed drive, & upon deleting some corrupted files, I wound up with an error message everytime I wish to empty the recycle bin. I get an error stating the file (an old IE5 bookmark) cannot be found.
How do I go about repairing this without doing a FDISK & re-install? A registry search for the filename comes up with nothing.

PS it is driving me nuts
