I get the following error in the print queue when printing large document in powerpoint97: Deleting-Restarting-Adapter Error-Job Restarted. The job doesn’t restart and you have to delete it. PC is running NT 4.0 SP6, Off97SP2. This happens in power point when printing notes pages or handouts. Does not happen when choosing Slides without animations. I have removed office 97 completely (found q article from microsoft) and reinstalled(this pc used to have spanish version of office…which i believe is part of the problem…error occurs on 2 other people’s machine who have, or had spanish ver. of off97, but error does not occur on my pc..(i have never had spanish version loaded at all)
It is not the network adapter, or the user profile, or print driver, or printer.
Any ideas on what is causing this error? It seems to only happen on those pc’s that had the spanish ver. of office. And it also only happens on large powerpoit documents.
I have tried everything I can think of. I ranthe eraser utility and reg clean utility when removing off97 before reloading.
