Ethernet Card IRQ – BIOS

Per Device Man. (98-SE), my Fast Ethernet card (Linksys, PCI-PnP) is configured but indicates “…disabled because BIOS for device did not give it an IRQ (Code 29)”. No conflicts are indicated. In Computer , Resources I see all of the assigned IRQ’sbut none for this card (there are unused ones avail.). The PCI buss Settings are for “use Hardware”. I have an older Phoenix bios (1.03, M5P-P02B; none-PnP) that Phoenix doesn’t know much about (CompuAdd/Micronics proprietary) and an ATA ProFlash card (larger drives and Y2K). I’m told I need to “flash” the bios but don’t know if/how/what to do to proceed.
