event 11 error in win2k server-ide hdd

i am having a single IDE 40GB Seagate HDD(model:ST340823A) partitioned as follows:
4 primary partitions of 2 GB each &
2 Extended partitions of 15GB each

I have installed win2k server(stand alone) with sp2 on a second partition,
and first primay partition is having win98se(no problems in tht)
after I start the system, In event viewer I get this error msg:

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk0\DR0.
category : None
Event : 11

can any one pls help me in solving the problem
