Event 52 … but PowerMax gave NO ERROR

My OS: Windows XP Pro
Harddisk: Maxtor 40GB (6E040L0)

Lately I found many warning messages on Event 52 issue (about 32 warnings since 2nd Oct 2004). The Maxtor harddisk has only been used for NOT MORE than 1 year. When I found the warning, I used PowerMax (frm Maxtor) to check the harddisk. The “Advanced Test (Full Read Scan)” in PowerMax reported that the harddisk has NO error.

Anyone has Event 52 before?
Should we believe Event 52 or PowerMax diagnosis result?
Is it safe to continuey use the harddisk?
