EVENT ID 8003 on PDC

i’ve got the described system event logged on my PDC (SJAK001PDC), the computer name varies and i got so much number of this event like this on the server daily.

“The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer WKS-JAK-1001 that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_iANSMiniport1. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.”

i could have just taken the solution – “From djames@mlgl.co.uk on 11/13/00 09:31 AM EST: This question was closed by the author”

but the problem is that the subnet of PDC (SJAK001PDC) is 255.255.255.0 while subnet of workstations is 255.255.254.0

is there any workaround i can do?
