Event Viewer

As of last Friday I was able to review my Security Logs files with now problem, today Monday when I went back to review I am experiencing a problem. As I scroll down to review the event I get a message that reads “THE EVENT LOG FILE IS CORRUPT” How can I fix this, I can’t affort to lose lose the date which dates back to december the 4th. Any help is greatly apreciated.
