Exabyte VXA2 Autoloader, Is it any good?

by joe . Updated 20 years, 5 months ago

I am looking to upgrade my networks backup capabilites, and after shopping around it seems the Exabyte VXA-2 1×7 Autoloader is the best solution for the money. However I have talked with some IT friends who had problems with Exabyte on their networks.

Just for the record, I am running Novell 5.1, Segate Backup Exec 8 (though this may have to change), and am upgrading to 73GB Seagate SCSI drives.

If anyone has some experience with Exabyte (especially the autoloader) I would love to hear it.

Thanks.
