Excel attachment not opening

I have a user that when he receives an email with excel attachment from one certain other person, he gets the following message “Right click on the folder you want to create the file in, and then properties on the shortcut menu to check permissions.” He cannot open, view, or save the attachment. If he fowards the email, other people can read the attachment no problem, he can open attachments from all other people, he could open attachments from her in the past, but now when he tries to open the attachments she sent in the past that he opend before, they will no longer open. I have reinstalled excel with no luck, anyone have a suggestion?
