Excel not showing data

I have a user trying to read a workbook with Excel97. He cannot see anything (even after allowing Macros when opening the book). I am using Excel2000 and I can see everything. He said he opened it once but cannot now. Is there some setting or mode he changed by accident to cause this? When viewing properties of the sheet, it shows all of the sheets in the contents.

Please help
