excessive network traffic

We have a satelite office with 12 Win2k workstations and a Windows NT server. Since upgrading the workstations, there has been a noticeable slowdown. The satellite office accesses the main office for its major program and the slowdown has been incredible. Are there any services on the workstations that would be contributing to this? Any suggestions as to what to look at? Thanks for the help!
