Exchange 2000 and Multiple Domain Names

by marty . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

I support a company that has three domain names pointed to the same location. All three addresses bring up the default webpage.

My DC is a Win2K server with Excahnge 2K mail. I can access the web mail using any of the three domain names.

Butnow I’d like for the users to be able to use the other domain names as e-mail addresses on the same exchange server. Our DNS records have been updated to point mail with all three extensions on it to the same server.

I’ve also edited each of theusers to use those names as alias, e.g.
Reply SMTP – bob@techstocks.com
alias SMTP – bob@techstocks.org

The problem is that no mail other than the one with the original domain name are getting through.

What do I still need to do to make bob’s mail come via 3 different e-mail extensions into one mailbox that Bob will view using Outlook 2000?

Do I need to make a whole new administrative group? Add another virtual server under the First Administrative Group, or what?
