Exchange 2000 – list server

I am trying to find an easy way of setting up a distribution list in Exchange 2000 that has external contacts on it. I want everyone to be able to send to one address (list@domain.com) and have it go out to everyone. But in e2k if you want to definea distribution group all recipients have to be in active directory.

Is there an better solution then adding all the ‘contacts’ to active directory and then creating a distribution group?
