Exchange 5.5 Distibution Lists

I have some distribution lists setup with many recipients in any given DL. I want to be able to have one DL say for PARTNERS. When someone send a message to the DL PARTNERS I want to be able to configure it so that if the recipient that sent the message exists in the DL they don’t receive a copy of the message. Is there a way to accomplish this?
