Exchange 5.5 event service not starting

Could not start the Microsoft Exchange Event Service on \\SERVERNAME Error 2140: An internal Windows NT Error occurred.
in event i received “An unexpected MAPI error occurred. Error returned was [0x80004005]”
i changed the service account but noresult pls. i have given the same account as other services are useing but no result thanks for help
