Exchange Client

Hi,

First a little history we have an Exchange server 5.5 SP2 running on W2k box, most of our offices are connected via fiber some of our smaller office go through the isp to gain access to Exchange. Any office connected internally with fiber have no problems with Outlook connectivity of use.
All offices not internally connected have issues with Outlook 97 initial connection to Exchange is fine but when sending e-mail internally or externally is very slow.

We’ve tried host files on the client computers, we are using WINS. These offices are going through a proxy server dual NIC
Windows NT4.0 SP6a, Proxy 2.0

Have you encountered this problem at all, Please help.
