Exchange – Space for storing messages

Operating system is Microsoft NT SBS. Microsoft Exchange 5.5. The hard disk that Exchange is stored on keeps getting full. Can I move all the messages to the client PCs (LAN) or move exchange to a new hard disk without having to reinstall NT. I have space in the server to add in a new hard disk.
