Expanding opening URLs

Hi All !!
When I click on a URL from Favorites, the page only opens to about 1/2 of it’s usual size. That it,,it only takes op about half of the screen. Is there any way I can “fine-tune” this quirk so that the URL fills the screen when it opens?
