Explorer hanging

I have a problem with one of my w2k ws machines that I just cant figure out. Immediately after restart the computer, explorer starts hanging when the user tries to use IE or just browse drives. The administrator account however has no problems. Now here’s the strange part. If I just ignore it, the problem dissapears after 12 hours or so and its completely fine untill the next time I need to restart it.

The computer is completely patched, not reporting any errors and seems in perfect physical condition. Any ideas?
