Exporting a SAP database into MS Access?

I have been given the task of exporting a SAP database with around 1000 rows into an Access database. I’m pretty conversant with Access, but I know nothing about SAP. I know little else about the contents of the SAP database. Can anyone give me advice on how to proceed?
