External Hard Drive

My Pc crashed so i bought a external enclosure to put my hard drive in so i get info/docs etc.. out i managed to get info out of one my hard drives onto my lap top but cannot access my documents/music/films etc.. on the other hard drive it keeps on saying “denied” every time i try and go into the folder???

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I am running XP Home on Laptop and was running XP Home i think on PC
