External Hard Drive Problem

Recently, my main external HD (a SimpleDrive 250 GB) Took a small trip off a counter top, courtesy of my cat.

When I plugged it back in, it booted up like normal, so I plugged it into my PC, where it wasn’t even recognized. (Tried My Computer>Manage>Disk Management) Then, it started to make this strange clicking noise, for about two or three minutes before going silent.

All attempts have met with the same results. I really need to get the data off of there, is their any way I can get it working again?
