I have a peer to peer network that has among several other machines 3 NT servers each performing specific server roles. I have a problem with one particular server as follows. I use one of the NT server boxes as my “workstation” to open documents located on another NT machine. Since a week ago my “workstation” is failing to logon to the second NT box authough it can log on to all other machines on the network. The same password I am using works fine on other machines. Also a look at the event viewer shows some entries that you can look at as follows
EVENT ID 7000
The 3Com 3C59x Bus Master Adapter Driver service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified.
EVENT ID 6006
The Event log service was stopped.
EVENT ID 8033
The browser has forced an election on network \Device\NetBT_El90x1 because a master browser was stopped.
What can I do.
