Fatel Exception

System was working fine then started getting Fatel messages Fatel oe occured at 0028:ff87cde when I hit a key then I get fatel at od 0000:00000000 I am running Win 98-SE Duel maxtors H/D 320 meg ram P-2 350 and have tried everything I know pulled cards shanged mem even put h/d in another system can not find any answer from M/Soft just a run around the Hard drive is loaded with no back up The messages just pop up any time sometimes at startup (Help I need this H/D going so I can get things Off it also it is my master
