I am Administrator for System. I am Using Windows NT 4.0 Server. My Clients are windows 2000 Professional & NT workstation.
I am facing two problems, First Problem I want my users to access the Directory mapped for them, and add,read,modify,move and rename files but should not be able to delete it.
Second I am defining the Home Directory in the Profile, The Directory which is shared with a $ sign to hide it has sub directories in it. I am mapping it profile like shown below where the share name of the directory is Information$ and User1 is a sub folder in Information folder.
\\fileserver\Information$\User1
It does not directly map to the User1 folder instead it maps only to Information folder shows me all the folder in it, whereI want only to see inside USER1 folder.
But this works on Windows 2000 Professional.
Please Guide me….
