File Recovery.

I was installing a printer/fax/copier to my system
and I deleted a file from my “C” drive windows
will not boot from my “C” drice. I’ve tried loading the O/S (which is XP home edition)would
someone please tell me what I need to do. Right now I am booting from my “D” drive, I’ve been moving files from my “C” drive in order to access
them.
