file sharing with windows ME to wins98

i have my usb printer on my p-III running windows ME.my second computer is a p-II-300 running windows 98se.i have done everything and installed the program from windows ME to windows 98. everything was great but the onlything was no matter what i did or tried…..NO PRINTING from the printer…

can any one tell me what to do ready to beat up the printer now….help
