Filemaker Pro 5.5 Gen. Protection Fault

I’ve just installed Filemaker Pro 5.5 and when I try to run it I get a General Protection Fault error message GDI.EXE at 0014:0000060f. I’ve uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and it causes the same problem. Any suggestions?
