Files getting moved – HELP

My company has had a problem the last couple of weeks with someone moving entire folders that results in them ending up in some other folder on our network. They have also been moved to another “drive”. So far, I have been able to find them and put them back. This is a very bad thing for several reasons. One of the main ones is that these files have links to other files and when they get moved the links are no longer valid. I don’t think this is a disgruntled employee.

I have talked with our IT department and they can’t figure it out either.

My question is: Is there any way to lock down folders so that they cannot be moved?
