filetype .prn

I am aware that one can specify “Print to file” for a printer. Then when you print something it creates a file with the extention of “.prn”.

My question is – now what can I DO with it? How can I now print it!? Obviously when I try to open it, Windows asked me to associate a program with it, but I’m not sure what to use in order to now print the file. Help!
