Finding Outlook Contacts

My Dell laptop blew up and I purchased a new laptop. I can access my old hard drive and I imported my .pst file into Outlook on the new laptop. But, I can’t find any of the contacts. I don’t remember how Outlook was configured. I did a search on .pab but no such luck. Please help!
