Flash Drive vista only?

Hi guys,

I am having a problem with a flash drive thats used to transfer patterns to an automatic sowing machine. I can access the drive in vista just fine. But if i plug it into an xp machine, it comes up as unrecognised device.

Is it a format problem or something?

Jm
