Floppy disk corupt

I am a Systems Administrator for a equipment distributor. I am constantly telling users to save all there work in their user directories, not on floppy disk. Before I was hired here, this company was running a “floppynet” and it has been a little dificult for a few people to grasp the idea of a computer network with a file server. Well it finaly happened: a manager here was keeping important files on a floppy disk that has become corrupt. Is there any way to extract the files? Is there anywhere I can go to figure out how to recover files from a corrupted floppy disk? Thanks!
