Floppy Diskette Data Recovery

Can anyone shed some light on floppy diskette data recovery?

Floppy disk presumed to be formatted in either FAT and/or FAT32 from Win9x OS. User has not accessed data for several months. User has since received updated computer and OS, Windows XP formatted w/FAT32 computer. Previously able to access data from the disk on a Win98 OS, upgraded from Win95 OS.

Opened 1 of 2 disks in question on a Win98 computer and copied contents to folder on network server. The other floppy would not open, even on Win98 computer.

Tried to open the floppy on a Win95 computer… no luck either!

It’s possible the floppy is just no good.
