Floppy Missing in My Computer!

Recently installed SP2 to Win2kpro! Now the floppy drive is gone in My Computer! Device manager says it can’t load the driver for the device! Floppy works fine if I use a boot disk to bring up the system! Could I have a registry problem? If so, where do I look for correct setting?
