Folder Permissions

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me pls.There is a folder on the network which I want to make read only for some of the staff in this office, and only couple of the staff will have executable rights on that folder. How can I go and do this? The files within these folders are Quattro Pro 7 files.Please help?
