I have a windows 2000 network with all windows XP client machines. I have configured group policy to redirect the My Doc’s folder to the users home share. For some reason I am getting an error in the application log on the client machine. The error is:
Failed to perform redirection of folder My Documents. The files for the redirected folder could not be moved to the new location. The folder is configured to be redirected to <\\wfg-server-1\%username%\My Documents>. Files were being moved from
The security descriptor structure is invalid.
I cant seem to figure out why im getting an error like this. I actually deleted the Adobe folder in a troubleshooting effort, but it just errored out on the next file.
Every user in the OU governed by this policy gets the error.
Any help would be great.
