Followup to Connectivity

The machine in question is a stand alone server in the domain.When I map to it from Explorer I can reach it,also when I log as the domain admin I can reach it.But not as the admin to the directory or a user in the directory.Users have logged off andon and it is still the same error the dir is unaccesible.Any suggestion to solve this problem will be appreciated.This a time based problem for me due to a project.
