Fonts in MS Word 2000

I recently installed MS Ofiice 2000 on my daughters Compaq Presario P266 laptop.When she opens Word 2000 and goes to select a font,only three fonts are listed.I’m certain I did the full install when I installed Office.Where are the rest of the fonts?
