Hiya,
I recently pulled my internal 250 GB hard drive from my main PC and put into one of my external USB cases to make it an External Drive. The PC Fried and I figured I’d just use it for external storage. I’ve done this before with no hiccups but this time it was different.
I plugged in the drive and it required formatting, so I formatted it and when complete I only had about 127 GB available. Now, its been a while since I touched the drive and I don’t think it was ever partitioned.
The OS it was previously on was XP Pro, whereas the OS I formatted it on was Vista Ultimate.
I’m sure there’s a way to reformat the drive under the pretense of its previous disk space allowance, but I’m not sure how.
Any help is surely appreciated!
