Formatting PC with XP

hi, have been doing this for awhile when installing XP from scratch.

1. Load Win XP PRO
2. Load device drivers
3. Load AV & standard s/w
4. Windows updates till no updates available

is there any things that’s missed out?
or is there better ways to do it than the above?
