Forwarding Contact Information

Because of the server were our email goes through is being turned into HTML format, we are not able to use netfolders because of this and also because some people are using Office XP. Does anyone have any ideas why when we forward a contact information that it gets turned into a blank email. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Please help me.
