Freecell doesn’t display grid

The game Freecell is not displaying the grids at the top of the screen. This is not stopping me from playing the game but it is distracting. This change occurred after applying critical updates (and service packs) to Internet Explorer. I am displaying at 800×600 with 256 colors. This was my setting before the update changes and Freecell worked just fine then. Any suggestions? All other games display and work fine. Thanks!
