frontpage form save to access database

We have created a event report form on our intranet and are trying to get the form to save the results to an access database with no luck. I have tried to make the smallest of forms and submit it to a database and it keeps coming up with either the code fot he ASP, OR the no page error. Is this due to no ASP?
